By adopting a new approach for this late harvest TARDUS Gewürztraminer, we follow the footsteps of the highly appreciated Alsace Gewürztraminer while complementing their venerable tradition of half dry Gewürztraminer with our very own distinguished character. With for the variety a relatively low alcohol and higher residual sugar this Gewürztraminer is characterized by the variety typical opulent floral and fruity aromas, however refined by the pleasant and unexpected lightness and freshness in the mouth.

Since my father Herbert Tiefenbrunner planted the first hectar of Müller-Thurgau on this high altitude vineyard on 1.000 m.a.s.l. (3,280 feet) on the Fennberg mountain in 1972, our FELDMARSCHALL VON FENNER has become an outstanding example of the art of wine-making in South Tyrol, attracting general acclaim and many awards. The wine is intensely aromatic with a succulence and fresh acidity. Great aging potential!
