Palate

A delicate body pampers the palate with elegant harmony, succulence and fresh acidity. The wine has a persistent finish.

Growing Conditions

- Elevation of the vineyard: 1000 m a.s.l.
- Hofstatt, Favogna di Sotto, part of Magrè
- Southern exposure
- Soil: heterogeneous glacier moraine rock. Silty-loamy sand, porphyry, granite foundlings, dolomite and limestone.

Harvest

The exposed site at 1000 m above sea-level and the climate require two to four harvest passes with strict selection for optimum ripeness.

Winemaking

After a short maceration period, the grapes are gently pressed and 70% fermented spontaneously in large wooden barrels and 30% in concrete vats. The young wine is then allowed to rest on the fine lees for ten month. After bottling, the wine matures for 1,5 years in the bottle.

- 70% 10 months in large wooden barrels on the fine lees

- 18 months in the bottle

Light straw-yellow with greenish reflections
