Kurtatsch - Penon-Kofl, 450-600 m a.sl., east, steep slope; Great day/night temperature difference; Sandy and gravelly soil rich in dolomite and quartz.
Harvest
The grapes are harvested by hand.
Winemaking
Cold maceration for 3 hours, controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, ageing on the fine lees in large oak barrels for 12 months.
