Nose

The tiny, partially seedless berries contain breathtaking concentrations of aromas reminiscent of dried rose petals, candied strawberries and oriental spices.

Palate

During its long, courageous period of skin contact, USHAS develops a spicy outline of tannins which melds harmoniously with the aromas of rose hips, cinnamon and orange peel. Extra-sweet finish with invigorating acidity.

Growing Conditions

400-500 m a.sl., south - east, steep slope; Great day/night temperature difference; Sandy and gravelly soil rich in dolomite.

Harvest

The grapes are harvested by hand.

Winemaking

Late harvest of Moscato rosa with air drying if necessary. Start of fermentation in stainless steel, final fermentation in old barriques with long skin contact, ageing for 10 months in old barriques.
