Palate

The wine is expansive on the palate with well-integrated tannins that provide strength and structure. The rich, full body with its good balance between ripe fruit and tannins emphasizes the harmonious and lasting finish.

Growing Conditions

- Elevation of the vineyards: 240 - 350 m a.s.l.
- Hillside vineyards in Cortaccia
- Soil: chalk gravel moraine soil

Harvest

The grapes are harvested by hand.

Winemaking

The maceration in concrete vats, is followed by malolactic fermentation in small oak barrels, where it matures for 10 months on the fine lees. It is then left to mature another six months in the bottle.
