Growing Conditions

The grapes come from the STROBLHOF vineyard, in the hamlet of Pigeno near Appiano/Eppan. The wine-growing estate faces south-east and extends across 22,500 m² at 500 metres above sea level.

After a 3-day maceration period, 10% of the juice of our Pinot noir mash is extracted
to enhance the colour, fruitiness and depth of the Pigeno and Riserva wines. The extracted must is then fermented separately in a steel tank.

The wine is stored in steel tanks for about 7 months.
