Growing Conditions

Two plots of land in the STROBLHOF and SATTEL estates with a total area of 12,500 m². The estates are situated 450-520 metres above sea level in the municipality of San Michele/St. Michael, near Appiano/Eppan.


The grapes are cooled in a natural ice house before the maceration and pressing. This was followed by twenty days of controlled fermentation.


The "Strahler" does seven months of ageing on fine yeasts in 20 hl oak barrels.
