Growing Conditions

A plot of land totalling 6,050 m² in the Pinot growing area of SCHWARZHAUS, situated 350 metres above sea level in the municipality of Appiano/Eppan.

Winemaking

The grapes are cooled in an natural ice house before maceration and pressing. The must was then fermented in large oak barrels at a controlled temperature.

Aging

The "Schwarzhaus" is aged for seven months 20 hl oak barrels.
