Nose

The Sauvignon has an intense, typical and fresh scent of elderberry, nettle and lime blossoms.

Palate

The taste is dominated by a pleasant and refreshing acidity, which is rounded off by a beautiful, subtle and pleasant wood note and abundance.

Growing Conditions

This Sauvignon grows in Missian in the municipality of Eppan. A clayey and calcareous soil supplies the vines with sufficient minerals.

Harvest

A low yield of 5,000 kg of grapes/ha and three different harvest dates are the reason for its complexity.

Winemaking

A third of the amount was fermented and matured in barrique barrels and gives the wine its fullness, complexity and longevity. The rest matured in stainless steel barrels and thus preserved its freshness, fragrance and pleasant acidity.

Appearance

bright yellow with slightly greenish reflections

Food Pairing

This Sauvignon goes well chilled, excellent with an aperitif. Due to its interesting minerality and beautiful abundance, it is also the ideal accompaniment to appetizers, fish dishes and spicy salads.
