Palate
Gewürztraminer brings in extract sweetness and structure. Moscato giallo lends the wine dynamic freshness. Its juicy fruity finish is accompanied by a stimulating, vibrating interplay of acidity and sugar.
Growing Conditions
450-550 m a.sl., east, steep slope; Great day/night temperature difference; Loamy, sandy and gravelly soil rich in dolomite.
Harvest
The grapes are harvested by hand.
Winemaking
Moscato giallo harvest at ideal ripeness, air dried in crates. Gewürztraminer harvest in December, followed by 20 hours of cold maceration of both varieties, gentle pressing. Fermentation and ageing for 12 months in old barriques.
