Nose

Distinctive floral, herbal and fruit aromas of white peach and yellow plums.

Palate

The bracing, peppermint-fresh acidity is preserved through ageing in stainless steel. Slender minerality gives the wine additional contours.

Growing Conditions

Kurtatsch - Graun, 800-900 m a.s.l., south - east, slope; Graun has one of the highest levels of sun intensity in Alto Adige. Very great day/night temp. difference, strong sunlight; Sandy, loamy soil rich in dolomite and quartz.

Harvest

The grapes are harvested by hand.

Winemaking

Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks - followed by ageing on the fine lees in large oak barrels for 9 months.
