Growing Conditions

On the stony slopes of Wolfsthurn Castle at Andrian in the warm Etsch valley we grow our Lagrein grapes. The poor soil of chalk and porphyry leads to a mineral and fruity rosé wine. Lagrein is one of the autochthones south tyrolean wine grapes.

Winemaking

Very short maceration and some months in steel tins conserve the freshness and youth of this wine.

Food Pairing

A very young and fresh rosé wine, good for aperitif or to pair with cold summer dishes.
