The Sylvaner variety has been cultivated in Valle Isarco for over a century and today is one of this valley’s most representative grape varieties.
The favourable weather conditions, the loose and pebbly soil and the airy and sunny vineyards allow this variety to give its best and stand at the top in terms of quality.

The grapes selected for the production of this prestigious wine come from the sunny vineyards that surround the Sabiona monastery, known as the “Acropolis of Tyrol”. The severe selection, the controlled production and the delicate ageing in acacia wood casks provide this wine with unmistakable breed.

This elegant wine owes its fragrant bouquet to controlled production and delicate refining in oak barriques. A wine that charms with its extraordinary combination of the acidulous and fruity notes of its bouquet.

Schiava, the grape variety most typical of and most commonly cultivated in South Tyrol, is instead scarcely grown in the Valle Isarco. The production area, located at the mouth of the valley, north of Bolzano, fully meets the needs of this variety, providing the typical Schiava elegance and fruity notes that have made this red wine the most renowned of Alto Adige- Südtiol.

The Grüner Veltliner grapes with their unmistakable aroma, come from vineyards situated in the best production areas of the middle Valle Isarco. The severe selection of grapes and the careful vinification process give this wine its special character. Ageing in acacia wood casks gives this wine its typically robust and aromatic character.

Aristos Grüner Veltliner

The grapes of this unique Sauvignon come from Campodazzo, a small winemaking town in the southern part of Valle Isarco. The concerted focus on cultivation and on compliance with severe production directives generate this unrepeatable aromatic wine that wins acclaim for its expressiveness and typicality.

Strict controls, from pruning to ripeness, and the selection of exceptionally good-quality grapes are the criteria allowing the production of this fantastic Kerner wine, with its intense fruitiness and robust and expressive body.

Pinot Nero is a wine made of a variety of noble origins: from Burgundy in France, it was brought to South Tyrol about 100 years ago. The warm hillsides around Campodazzo, in the lower Valle Isarco, provide the ideal conditions for the growing of this acclaimed variety, giving the wine the expressivity and typicality that have made it one of the most refined reds.

Pinot Nero

The climatic conditions ideal for this variety and the loose, well–ventilated soils typical of the area surrounding the Sabiona monastery give this wine particularly refined qualitative characteristics. A seductive wine due to its floral and slightly aromatic bouquet.

Aristos Müller Thurgau

The special microclimate characterized by the big temperature differences between day and night, as well as the mineral soil, create a fresh and elegant Pinot Bianco that delights with elegant character and sophistication.

Aristos Pinot Bianco

In Alto Adige, the Grüner Veltliner variety of Austrian origin is grown almost exclusively in the Valle Isarco. Considering the practically total disappearance of the original Frühroter Veltliner stock, today mostly the Veltliner Verde is cultivated. This grape variety prefers deep, fertile and warm soils capable of transmitting to the wine those characteristics that make it a veritable rarity within the Alto Adige wine-making scenario.

Classic Grüner Veltliner

Originally from France, this grape variety was brought to Alto Adige about 100 years ago but only much more recently to the Valle Isarco. The porphyry-rich, warm, frost-protected soils of the lower Valle Isarco with their SE exposure confer to this wine the characteristics that have made it one of the noblest among white wines.

Classic Sauvignon

The Kerner variety finds absolutely ideal growth conditions in the areas close to the top of the cultivation borders. The lean soil and the colder climate, featuring cold nights and abundant sunlight during the day, are the ingredients of this intensely flavoured and spicy wine.

Sabiona Kerner

This grape variety, most probably originally from Germany, was introduced to Alto Adige in around 1900. Today it is cultivated mainly in the Valle Isarco. Sylvaner prefers the well-ventilated and sunny hillsides at intermediate altitudes, in the mid Valle Isarco. The loose and gravelly soils provide this wine with unique breed and although similar to its homonyms from the other side of the Alps, it retains the unmistakable typicality of Valle Isarco wines.

Classic Sylvaner

The Kerner variety is a cross between Schiava and Riesling , created in Weinsberg (Germany) in 1929. It's named in honour of the poet and physician Justinus Kerner.  It prefers the light, gravelly and sandy soils of the higher altitude, sunny hillsides of the mid Valle Isarco. Despite their late ripening period, these grapes provide a highly acclaimed full-bodied and tasty wine.

The Cantina Valle Isarco winemaking cooperative has focused on the cultivation of this noble variety only recently. Controlled production allows the production of a fruity, very elegant wine that has made it the king of white wines.

Aristos Riesling

This extraordinary Traminer Aromatico is obtained from grapes coming from sunny and carefully selected vineyards growing at the heart of the Valle Isarco, after undergoing continuous and severe quality control tests. Careful ageing in the bottle gives this white its unique aroma and full, intense taste.

Aristos Gewürztraminer

This grape variety comes from Burgundy where it was renowned already in the 14th century. Today it is grown worldwide, and in the lower Valle Isarco it finds the ideal climatic conditions for acquiring its typical taste.

Given its peculiar climatic and exposure requirements, Pinot Bianco grows only in the warmer areas of the lower Valle Isarco where the sunny hillside soils rich in porphyry generate a white wine with a typical Burgundy-style bouquet and strong character.

The Müller Thurgau variety is a Riesling and Madeleine Royale hybrid created in Geisenheim (Germany) at the end of the 19th century by the Swiss botanist Hermann Müller, who gave it this name because he came from the Thurgau canton. This grape variety prefers the elevated and sunny hillsides of the Valle Isarco featuring a thinly structured soil. The colder climate of these higher altitude areas and especially the fresh night during grape ripening season give Müller Thurgau its typical freshness and that variegated bouquet to which it owes its frame.

Müller Thurgau

Riesling originates from Germany and is one of the highest quality grapes. Riesling is produced in climatically cooler wine-growing areas and is grown almost exclusively on steep slopes. Thus, this noble grape variety finds the best conditions in the Valle Isarco.

Originally from Tramin, this grape variety is now cultivated worldwide. In the Valle Isarco, Gewürztraminer is grown on the terraces most exposed to the sun, wich gives this wine that incomparable aroma and those characteristics that have made it one of the gratest among white wines.
