Nose
Intense scent of raspberries, wild strawberries, currants and black tea.
Palate
Delicately bitter on the palate, herbal spices, ripe fruit, gooseberries, blackberries, raspberries, plums. Fine tannins. An intense, powerful, long-lasting Pinot Noir.
Winemaking
Multiple and most careful hand-picking of the grapes from our oldest plants, more than 45-year-old vines. Mash fermentation, the wine is not pumped. A good 17 months of aging in new french oak barrels, then bottled unfiltered.

Goes well with braised lamb, mushroom dishes, venison goulash, lasagne, octopus braised in Pinot Noir, spicy cheese or a vegan chard roulade with buckwheat filling and fine paprika sauce.
