Harvest

"Gemischter Satz" means that the grapes of each variety are harvested on the same day and then fermented together.

Winemaking

Fermentation begins at 18°C in stainless steel tanks, and after 4 days, the fermenting must is transferred to wooden barrels to complete fermentation. It is then aged for 15 months on the lees without further racking, with regular stirring to keep the fine lees suspended in the young wine.
