Production zone: Medium-low hillsides along the valley of Val d’Adige and Oltradige.

Elevation: 250 – 500 mt. a.s.l.

Soil type: Mixed origin, predominantly limestone with clay.

Training system: Part pergola, part espalier, Guyot pruned

Harvest

Early / mid September

Winemaking

The fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand and undergo gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 62-64 F. After initial racking, the wine rests on its lees to develop texture and mouthfeel.

Aging potential: 2-3 years

Appearance

Straw yellow color with faint greenish highlights.

Food Pairing

An excellent aperitif but also a very versatile companion to many different foods: seafood starters, fish dishes, flavorsome soups, and white meats. It is a must-try with lean and spicy preparations.
