Growing Conditions
Müller Thurgau grapes are cultivated with a Guyot method at variable altitudes ranging between 500 and 800 meters above sea level. The soil is a mix of clay and porphyry and the vineyards are exposed to the south and southwest.
Winemaking
After a short maceration to help extract aromas, the crushed, previously destemmed grapes are gently pressed. Then the must is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and left to refine there for about five months before another brief period in the bottle.
Food Pairing
The wine can be served as an aperitif or as a simple combination of Mediterranean light meals, fish salads and fresh goat cheese.
