Eberlehof

The white wine Blauturm is a white wine made from the old, historical South Tyrolean grape variety Blaterle. A long yeast storage in steel and oak barrels ensures that the wine is more balanced, full and harmonious.

The cuvée MABON is a great combination of Lagrein and Merlot, in which the fruitiness of the local grape variety Lagrein and the specific characteristic of the French variety Merlot are united. The maturing process in oak barrels ensures that the wine has an elegant, harmonious body.

The autochthon variety of Lagrein thrives on the warm and sunny south-exposed vineyards of the Eberlehof winery. This makes the wine particularly full-bodied, provided with elegant tannins. Only mature and healthy grapes are carefully harvested and vinificated. After a storage period of two years, the quality wine validly carries the label “Riserva”.

The variety of Merlot has its origins in the French wine area Bordeaux and has been cultivated in South Tyrol for more than 100 years now. This variety is a rarity in the assortment of the Eberlehof, since it is cultivated only to a small extent. After the controlled mash fermentation, the new wine matured in small oak barrels, which provides it with particular harmony and elegance.

The S. Maddalena Classico is the main wine in the assortment of the Zisser family. The vines are partly old and grown in combination. The different variations of the grape variety Schiava and the variety of Lagrein are traditionally harvested, fermented and developed together.

The Eberle's rosé wine is a composition of the two South Tyrolean autochthonous red grape varieties Schiava and Lagrein.

The almost forgotten old and autochthon variety of Blaterle is still grown few and far at the Eberlehof winery. Due to its early maturity, the grapes are harvested already end of August to create a balanced harmony between sugar and acidity.
