Eberlehof
A brief history
The Eberlehof winery is located in the classic wine-growing area of the S. Maddalena wine above Bolzano (South Tyrol - Italy). The winery was first mentioned as a winery in 1312. This traditional farmhouse has been in the possession of the Zisser family since 1668. Tomas Zisser and his wife Margit work on the vineyard and the wine cellar together with their children Christian and Lukas. Grandfather Horst and grandmother Lisi also support them.
The wines are produced of the own grapes, following an old family tradition, and according to modern cellar techniques. The vines are partly old and grown in combination. They are cultivated in a natural way with diligence and love.
Three holiday apartments at the Eberlehof winery offer any kind of convenience and a perfect ambience to relax and feel at home. A unique holiday experience is made possible by the advantages of the Bolzano Card, a swimming pool in the summer months and the chance to gain an insight into the craft of wine-making. During a wine tasting with a guided tour through vineyards and cellars you´ll get more familiar with the world of South Tyrolean wine.
