Christian studied viticulture and oenology at the Geisenheim university in Germany and graduated successfully. After several internships in renowned wineries and cellars in South Tyrol and Austria, he joined the family business in autumn 2018. He brings new techniques and ideas to the winery. With the 2019 vintage, he brought out the white wine Mitterberg bianco IGT Blaturum, which is made from the old, historical South Tyrolean grape variety Blaterle. The special about this selection white wine is, that the must is fermented in steel and barrique barrels and the wine is stored on the fine yeast with bâtonnage for several months.
