Growing Conditions

The grapes come from vineyards planted at 200 - 400 m above sea level in calcareous clay and gravelly soils. They are characterized by a strong interplay of sunny days influ-
enced by the Mediterranean climate and cool nights marked by the cold downslope winds.

Winemaking

The grapes for this wine are gently pressed off to steel tanks immediately after harvest. Fermentation occurs at controlled temperature (19° C) in small steel tanks, where maturation takes place with partially malolactic conversion.

Aging

in small steel tanks for at least 4 months
