Growing Conditions
The vineyards are located on south and east-facing slopes at 350 to 500 meters above sea level. Thanks to their breezy location, they are particularly suitable for a later harvest. The soil consists mainly of loamy, sandy limestone gravel.
Winemaking
Vinification starts with whole-cluster pressing, followed by natural must clarification. This is followed by slow fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18 °C. The wine is fermented in large wooden barrels, barriques and stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 6 months on the fine lees.
Appearance
