Our Gewürztraminer is an aromatically fruity white wine, with an unmistakable aroma of tropical fruits as well as roses and cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.

It is complex on the palate with a long finish.

Growing Conditions

“Plon” site with calcareous to gravelly loamy soil
Orientation: East
Altitude: 350 m
Planting year: 1998
Vines/ha: 5,000
Form of cultivation: Guyot
Yield: 55-60 hl/ha

We start the manual harvest of our white wine grapes early in the morning. Then we quickly bring the cool Gewürztraminer grapes to the cellar, where they are macerated for around 8 hours in an oxygen-free environment and then gently pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Ageing also takes place in stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation.

In the glass it has a delicate golden yellow colour.

Food Pairing

Gewürztraminer goes very well with shellfish, spicy meat dishes, mature cheeses and Far Eastern cuisine.
