Nose

Aromas of fresh fruit, green apple and bitter orange mingle with the delicate fragrance of linden blossom, acacia, and nutmeg.

Palate

Aromas of fresh fruit, green apple and bitter orange mingle with the delicate fragrance of linden blossom, acacia and nutmeg. This refreshing impression continues on the palate, where the wine remains light-footed due to an acid structure that is lively, but never too austere. A Müller Thurgau that convinces with aromatic depth.

Growing Conditions

Clay and gravel.

Winemaking

Immediately after their arrival to the cellar, the grapes are lightly crushed and
the must is left to macerate with the skins for a few hours to enhance fruit expression. After gentle pressing and natural sedimentation to remove haze, the
must is fermented at controlled temperatures.
After fermentation, the Michei di Michei Müller-Thurgau matures for a further 6
months on the fine lees. The fine lees are stirred weekly (bâttonage).

Appearance

Yellow colour with green highlights.

Food Pairing

Marvellous to enjoy on its own, but also pairs well with antipasti, salads and light pasta dishes.
