Palate

The Mediterranean climate gives our Schiava silky tannins and plump, fruity body with pep from lively acidity. On the palate it is supple and juicy. Enjoy cooled to 13°C (55°F)!

Growing Conditions

300-450 m a.s.l., east, sandy and loamy soil with dolomite, clay minerals and oxides.

Harvest

The grapes are harvested by hand.

Winemaking

Temperature controlled must fermentation in stainless steel followed by malolactic fermentation and ageing in large oak barrels.
